Description of volunteer effort:

Since 1986, thousands have gathered each year on the first Sunday in June for AIDS Walk Boston & 5K Run, New England's largest community fundraiser and awareness event for HIV/AIDS. Thousands more have contributed to the Walk & Run as donors.Together, Walkers, Runners, Volunteers, and Donors have raised over $35 million to fight AIDS right here at home.
