Description of volunteer effort:
BMO Vancouver Marathon brings 15,000 runners together in our community on May 6, 2012.A great opportunity for our Starbucks partners to get into the community, and cheer on our runners! The organizers are in need of community Cheer teams with a bright team spirit. The team that shows the most "Cheer" will receive a sum of money that will go towards an organization of their choice. Lets get out there an show Vancouver what Starbucks can do!Along with the Cheer Team, we are in need of 25 volunteers to be the hosts at an aid station, directing runners, and handing out water. A great opportunity for us as the route goes by right by many of our stores.Hope to see you all there!
