Description of volunteer effort:

Starbucks Black Partner Network (BPN) will sponsor and serve meals to approximately 200 women at YWCA Angeline's Center for Homeless Women. Angeline's serves women who are low-income or homeless and need a place to get resources, information and basic needs including food, laundry, shower facilities and health care. The Seattle location offers an Enhanced Night Program for women seeking to transition to stable housing and a Winter Shelter Program during the coldest months of the year. The event will take place on MLK Day (observed) and will include activities that celebrate and commemorate the life and legacy of Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr.
