Bright Beginnings of Kittitas County (formerly Head Start/ECEAP) is working to establish a children's garden at their new facility on E. Helena St. in Ellensburg. Gardening will expand the preschool curriculum to include planting, growing, harvesting vegetables and fruit.  It will emphasize the importance of good nutrition and healthy eating habits.  This garden is expected to make a positive difference in the community and it will certainly be a joy for the children to plant, harvest, and eat their own vegetables as part of healthy meals and snacks. Our Bright Beginnings Children's garden is coming together with a work party on Sunday , April 22 Earth Day The address is 220 E.
