Description of volunteer effort:

We will return to Belmondo Reach Natural Habitat, along the Maple Valley Highway (corner of Hwy 169 and 196th), to improve not only the natural environment, but help improve the habitat to benefit the lives of the plants and animals that call it their home.  This site, like many along the Cedar River is crucial to the salmon population and needs to be protected to make their journey to the sea and back easier.  Please dress for the elements, bring a snack and a refillable water container.  Bathroom facilities will be provided, as will coffee and snacks in the morning.  We look forward to seeing all of you there!
