Volunteers assist abused and neglected children through the court process by gathering information about a child's case and presenting recommendations to the court about what is in each child's best interest. Special Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old; able to attend court every 3-6 months; able to remain objective Time Details: Volunteers must complete 30 hours of training to be certified; Time commitment averages 2 hours/week; Average case duration 12-18 months
