Description of volunteer effort:

Monthly Philabundance packs over 9,000 food boxes for Seniors in need.  The USDA provides the food that is packed by volunteers.  Along with the packed food Philabundance packs a card to help life the spirits of the Seniors who are receiving it.  Philabundance needs volunteers to make cards that are included in the boxes.  Make 4x6 cards of construction paper, recycled cards, pictures of food, etc.  Simply put notes of 'have a great day' 'thinking of you' etc.  The cards can be mailed or dropped of to Philabundance with attention to Jan Barnett.  This is a great way to make a Senior feel good and you can do it at any time of the day!!
