The City of Longview hosts an annual Earth Day Celebration at the Cowlitz County Expo Center. This is a huge event for Longview, with an estimated turnout of 3,000 kids and 2,000 adults. Ocean Beach Starbucks started a volunteer relationship with Lower Columbia School Garden (a division of Pathways 2020) last fall and we will have two booths side by side this year. LCSG will be planting seeds and hosting a worm exhibit and Starbucks will host a craft activity featuring coffee grounds. Children will be able to make their own "Garden Stone". Our booths are on the "Passport" list for all children, so we will see nearly all 2,000 kids! We are incredibly excited about this opportunity!
