I am so proud of our team efforts at Doheny yesterday! THANK YOU to the 119 partners, customers, friends, and family who came out to make a difference!
The Beach Clean Up was hugely impactful with 250 pounds of trash and 55 pounds of recyclables removed from the grounds. We were able to plant twenty five one gallon Lemonade Berries, ten one gallon Elderberries, ten five gallon Laurel sumacs, and two fifteen gallon Torrey Pines. These combined efforts saved Doheny from having to spend labor to accomplish these critical tasks to maintain the grounds.
*These above listed plants/trees were purchased through the Starbucks community grant program based on partner efforts from last year! Hopefully, we will get another grant for next year to help continue this fifteen year tradition.
