Thank you for inviting me to help at the food bank. It was a great deal of fun to serve with you and see the great work that is being done at Feeding America. I only hope that someday it is no longer necessary to have organizations like this. It really makes me think about how lucky we all are. See you at the food bank next week! I challenge Tom to another round of food bagging!

West Michigan Food Bank Event 4/7/11

What a great event, I can't wait to return next week! Who thought bagging dried pasta could be so competitive and fun. The staff called us a little bit crazy and Marty Cook currently is the pasta bagging champion with 12 perfect 4# bags (even 2 in a row). I was a sad second place at 9 bags. We had a great turnout and thank you to all the partners and Logan for participating!

The event begins at 1:30pm and the address is 864 W. River Dr. Center, Comstock Park, MI

Please dress appropriatley, bring a sweatshirt and wear closed toe shoes, waivers will be available at event
