Thanks to everyone for the incredible work in Seattle on Saturday. Also, all the partners that worked to make the day such a success - from planning to the team that prepped the irrigation system! I enjoyed seeing so many partners and customers accomplishing so much in such a short period of time. I also heard many people say that they were going to do more service, which is fantastic! What was your favorite part of the day?

Canadian Interest for Seattle Service Event

Hi Partners,

I'm Josh, a Canadian partner interested in taking part in April's Marquee event in Starbucks' hometown (why not, eh?).

So here, I'd like to guage Canadian interest from those in the Vancouver area who would be interested in making the trip together to share costs.

The planned trip would be to depart Sat 30 Apr in the morning to arrive for volunteer check-in around the 8 o'clock hour. Following the service event, use the time to visit Seattle for few hours, leaving no later than 7 p.m.

An individual with a personal vehicle would be ideal, so as not to borrow one.

Painting/Paint Supplies?

Good afternoon -

I am interested in assisting with painting walls/fences/etc, as I have a number of my own supplies (rollers, brushes, trays, cloths for wiping down walls). Would it be okay if I brought my own items to use?
