How do I sign up for AIDS Walk?

In order to particpate in AIDS Walk OC, you must be signed up on the AIDS Walk website, in addition to the Starbucks Community Website. It's super easy and once you are signed up, you can receive emails from the team captain, send emails to your friends and family, and track your progress. First, click on the link to take you to the Sign Up page. http://www.ocasf.org/category/asf-events-activities/aids-walk-orange-county Select "Register" in the top right hand corner of the screen and then agree to the terms and services. Then select "Join a Team" and select "Team Starbucks". There is a registration fee of $50, and you have the option of either donating it at the time of registration, at a later date, or fundraising to meet that minimum goal. Wristbands are required to participate in the walk, and once you have paid or raised the $50 minimum, you are issued your wristband. The team captain will pick up wristbands for all members of Team Starbucks at Early Bird Check-In and will distribute them on the morning of the walk.

What is Partner Match?

Partner Match is a program that recognizes and supports partner's individual contributions of financial gifts or time to qualified organizations. The time spent supporting local organizations is the main focus of Partner Match-Time. If we are able to reach 100 or more hours of volunteer time for AIDS Walk OC, Starbucks will match $1000 to AIDS Services Foundation.

Is there a discount to get into Disneyland on the day of the walk?

YES! Everyone who raises the minimum of $50, receives a wristband, and participates in AIDS Walk is eligible to receive Disneyland park tickets at a discounted rate for that date only! One park passes will be $59 and park hopper passes will be $69. What a deal! You must show your wristband in order to receive the discounted rate.
