Description of volunteer effort:

Every night in Seattle, 700-1,000 young people have no safe place to sleep. YouthCare serves homeless and under-served youth from ages 11-24, and we rely on the passion and support of community members, like the Starbucks Volunteers, who want to support valuable programs and opportunities that enable under-served youth to become self-sufficient and build better futures. We have a wide range of services, from street outreach to case management, to employment and education programs to housing.Description: Starbucks Volunteers will volunteer doing a number of tasks that include: deep cleaning, organizing, restocking, sorting, laundry, picking up trash, etc. The project will begin with an overview of the our transitional living program, continue with very much appreciated volunteer clean-up tasks, and then finish up making the house sparkle.
