Kameron, age 3

Charlicia was raised in Birmingham, where she graduated from Woodlawn High School. She is employed with the City of Birmingham as an Administrative Assistant. Charlicia aspires to go back to school, and in her free time, she enjoys watching movies, reading, bowling, and spending quality time with her family. The Heard family attends Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.

Amaya is in kindergarten at Avondale Elementary School. She enjoys gymnastics, learning to read, and playing Nintendo. Kameron is a toddler student at Angels Christian Academy. He enjoys playing with tools, cars, and trucks, and learning new songs at school.

"Owning my own home will give my kids and me stability, comfort, and new beginning," says Charlicia. "This is such a blessing to us. Thank you all for your help and support in this opportunity."
