Volunteers on this project will be helping build the dream home for the Valdez Family. The Valdez Family is currently renting a decent home, however, the home is not conducive for their oldest son's asthma condition. The air quality is very poor and the carpet in the home is another detriment to his asthma ailment. The couple, Melanie and Guadalupe, look forward to owning a home where they are able to make modifications for the health of their children because it is theirs, not a rental. Their sons, Jacob, Antonio and Daniel all enjoy playing  baseball, football andsoccer. As a family, they enjoy vacationing in Northern Arizona camping and fishing. Melanie and Guadalupe learned about Habitat for Humanity through their family. It will be a home that they will be able to control the conditions to fit the needs of Jacob and his asthma.
