Description of volunteer effort:
What is Halfsies? Halfsies is an opportunity to give out of love for our community and our own abundance. It's a step to make people to feel valued and loved, while also meeting a basic need; clothing. It is a unique chance to experience a boutique clothing store where everything is free for those in need. Where is Halfsies? There will be two weekends of shopping this spring. On Rock Boutique: May 12th at 9554 Gouin West, Pierrefonds. H8Y 1R3. La Corde Boutique: May 19th at 9555 Gouin West, Pierrefonds. H8Y 1R2 How can I be involved? 1) Be a Boutique Donor. The heart of Halfsies is about sharing from our abundance. 2) Volunteer. We need decorators, set-up crews, fashion consultants, clean up crews and other general helpers. Here is what we need next: * New or lightly used clothes in all shapes, sizes and colours, infant to adult. * Store supplies – racks, hangers, tables, or any other boutique style décor you would like to lend us for the two events. * Volunteers –E-mail Denise Trimm at denise.araujo.trimm@gmail.com for more info.
