Description of volunteer effort:

Every day, the Lodestar Day Resource Center (LDRC) works to help hundreds of individuals end their homelessness. The Lodestar Home Run is a community event open to everyone. Have a great time running or walking around the Phoenix Zoo. Register Online at lodestardrc.org under Events, then follow the link. Team name Starbucks Java Chips. 5K/Walk-(13 and over)-Clock Timing  630am Registration opens 730am 5K Run/walk begins 815am 1 mile fun run/walk begins and live music begins 12pm end live music-enjoy the zoo  $25 for ages 13 and over (includes T shirt & zoo admission for the day) $15 ages 3-12 FREE for ages 2 and under
