Description of volunteer effort:

Become a personal Running buddy and share in a girl's exhilaration and excitement as she crosses the 5K finish line.  As a running buddy, your time commitment is only 6 hours (orientation, practice run and the 5K)  You will be the cheerleader for a little girl encouraging her to meet her goal by completing the 5K. There are also many other volunteer opportunities with Girls on the Run on 5K day, prior to the event, our annual auction and more.  We can find something that is the right fit for you that will make it fun and easy to support a great cause - preparing girls for a lifetime of self respect and healthy living!
