The Starbucks located on 18th and Castro is a unique part of the Castro community.  We are taking the opportunity to be a part of the International Bear Rendezvous (IBR) hosted by the Bears of San Francisco (BOSF) as a way to give back to the community of which we are an integral part.We will be hosting a community day right in front of our store in the heart of the Castro during the busy IBR weekend.  We will be utilizing our new VIA instant coffee, donated by local stores and partners alike, to surprise and delight customers who choose to donate to the BOSF.  It will be a fun place to come and hang out and also provide the chance to give some time and money to a great cause.  We are seeking volunteers to come help raise some money and get involved in our vibrant community.  By taking the time to give back we will establish Starbucks as more than just a corporation but as a prominant supporter of local events and events occurring right outside our door.
