Description of volunteer effort:
On May 19, 2011 Caleb Andrew Remington, the most amazing son, brother and friend, will be celebrating his 21st birthday! A few months ago we asked him how he felt and he said he couldn't wait, he admitted that he thought his life was half over because of his battle with Cystic Fibrosis. We stood in shock at how different our reality was from his. Most people with Cystic Fibrosis live their lives one day, one week, or one year at a time while the rest of the world is off creating a 10 year plan. We want to make Caleb's 21st birthday the most amazing, inspiring, and impactful day of his life.So what are we doing? Well in the words of the little man himself, we have decided to do something "off the hook!" Our goal is to give Caleb the gift of more years by raising money that will fund research and extend his life! In honor of his 21st birthday we're asking YOU to help us reach 21,000 people. THAT'S RIGHT, 21 THOUSAND PEOPLE who will throw down $21 to Cystic Fibrosis and to find a cure.
