Public Allies Chicago is partnering with Donoghue Charter School on their Tellabration storytelling event and a Thanksgiving food drive to be held inconjunction with this event.We will be picking up food donations from Starbucks stores, and assiting with set-up, assembly of baskets, greeting, seating, and breakdown.

Some Volunteers will also be passing out flyers in front of grocery store locations and collecting food from 9 AM-12 PM and work in teams of 2-3 volunteers.

The food donations will benefit families in need through the Donoghue School and the Good News Bible Church.

A Tellabration is a celebration of storytelling and an opportunity to learnabout others and ourselves through storytelling performances.  The event is being hosted by Donoghue Charter School and is in partnership with the Chicago Association of Black Storytellers.
