Description of volunteer effort:
The YMCA of the Treasure Coast has partnered with the New York Mets to host the 2nd Annual 'YMCA Fireworks Night at the Mets. The YMCA Fireworks Night at the Mets is scheduled for April 30th, 2011 and will be held at the Digital Domain Stadium which is the spring training site for the Major League Baseball New York Mets. The YMCA of the Treasure Coast represents all the families and residents in Indian River County, Okeechobee County, St Lucie County, and Martin County and will engage with over 45 different youth based groups or organizations in all four counties. The YMCA has secured 4,500 stadium seats and 2,000 bleacher seats. Volunteers will be running the concession stands to generate revenue along with our corporate sponsorships. The YMCA of the Treasure Coast and the New York Mets appreciates Starbucks continued support and this event will generate great community support for all the Starbucks locations on the Treasure Coast.
