I was just wondering if you can share with us the time that partners need to arrive by, and if SM's should order tshirts for this event for thier partners or will they be provided . I am asuming that if everyone already has a NEW green community t-shirt then they should wear it?
thank you I am so looking forward to this event.
Hey Leeann!
Great Questions!!
We will start the event with an Opening Ceremony...we are still confirming the exact start time--it will probably be at 9am. Stay Tuned...all specifics will be updated on March 8th!
T-SHIRTS!! We will have them for the volunteers that arrive without them...but YES...if you have the new green t-shirt already....wear it! ![]()

Partner Questions:
So I'm making a poster to help my partners become aware of this event, but they just had a few questions. What are we going to be doing to help, and should we bring some sort of lunch or will that be provided? I'm hoping to bring half of my store with me to this event
fingers crossed.

Join 600 of your fellow partners and customers to transform Crenshaw High School, Barack Obama Global Prep Academy, Golden Day and University Alternative Schools and Leimert Park. Our day will kick-off with a special welcome at Crenshaw High School before breaking into teams to garden, conduct greenhouse renovation and light construction, as well as paint murals and planters. Supplies and instructions will be provided by HandsOn Network and its local affiliate, the Volunteer Center of Los Angeles.
Enjoy a special celebration after the service projects to recognize volunteers, eat lunch, listen to local entertainment and take part in fun photo opportunities.
Schedule for the day (Pacific Time):
This event will take place rain or shine. Dress in clothing that is comfortable, safe and that you don’t mind getting dirty or worn. Wear outdoor, closed-toe work shoes or running shoes.
Jessica- the event is closed to anymore registrations (partners and customers) however can more people come to just to help without being registered?
