What did you do today that could really make a difference, that could start a change?

The Aids Walk was today in Kansas City, I have worked countless hours for months on this project and many leading up to it.  I had a check list..  I had many volunteers both partners and customers.  I had a plan in place on how the day should look. I did all of the last minute errands I thought were necessary last night to make today successful.  I got home with my family to eat a late dinner and get some good rest, then the text came.  I cant work!  I thought one of my partners was goofing around with me.  Why?  .....My partner had a tragedy and lost her mother.  of all of the things that could happen or go wrong this was never a scenerio I imagined.  While getting ready the today for this event I thought of how many times people had to break the news they had Aids , or died of Aids.  How many people dont know they have HIV/AIDS and who they are giving it to?  How many innocent babies are born with  Aids?

We will do everything possible as a Team and a District to help my partner get through this tragedy.

We as a Company, Neighborhood, City will do everthing we can to stop a tragedy to by standing together, walking together, sharing a cup of coffee together. We will start the Change that IS going to Lead to Change!
