new volunteer

Hi,

I'm doing my first volunteer project on April 14th. and I was wondering how do I get information about the event I joined?  Where to meet, what to wear, etc.

    Do you know the name of the project or the project leader? You can search by this criteria in the PROJECTS section of the site. If you use Keyword search, use one key word in the project name to yield best results.

    I did find the event but there is just no street number or zip code, there is no place to meet posted and also I've not found out what I'm supposed to wear. I'm not familiar with the area and I just don't want to get lost.  Do the partners that are in charge of the event send out any emails to their volunteers prior to the event date?? (April 14th.)

      Amy -

       

      I would recommend emailing the project leader (within the site) and ask for more details. Leaders have the option of emailing their volunteers, but I do not know for sure if this will happen.

        Thank You for the information.

        Do you know how to email the project leader??  Do I need to be one of his friends in order to email him??

          You might also try starting a discussion in the project page. Just click on 'Discussion' in green letters under the project header.
