I am the leader of 2 events from February and I do not see the link on the right ot record my impact. I thought I may have already completed, but there is not an amount of hours completed listed either. I lead projects last year and that was how I did it before. I see the website has been updated since MLK day and now those projects are not listed under recent activity. Please help to ensire we have these hours logged. Please reply to s14582@retail.starbucks.com so I see the tech support, in case I cannot find it on this discussion. THANK YOU ![]()
Tiffany,
If you actually go into the event (you have to be the leader of the project), you will see "Log Hours" on the right side (2nd option on the list). I don't believe you log individual hours for each volunteer any more. You have to list the # of volunteers and the total group volunteer hours. For example, if you had 20 volunteers and they worked 4 hours, you would have a total group volunteer hours of 80 hours.
It is now simply an online form that you complete after the end of the event. If you have any problems, let me know.
Thanks,
Kristin
Hi Kristin,
Thanks for replying. I still need help. On the right I see, "
. No Log Hours. In project's box I see
I think it is not logged since it says "open" for project type. I have tried clicking on several links, but they did not have loggin hour or record impact. The activity says, "other" on this MLK Round Rock and, "unknown" on the Peaceable Kingdom event. I created them before the update, so if I cannot figure out with your help I will just create the events again to make sure we get the hours.
When you are free you can call me at the store 512-863-7802 to talk me through or reply if my copy & paste of the sites made sense.
I really appreciate your help,

So in order to log any hours we have to be leader of the project? Or we find the event and then log our hours, our event isn't posted so just trying to figure out what I need to do:)
The Project Leader is responsible for logging all hours and enters a total # of hours for the entire project. For example, if 10 people volunteered and all worked 2 hours, a total of 20 hours would be logged for the project.
Individual partner hours are no longer entered. If you were registered to be a volunteer, your hours are recorded when the project leader enters the project hours and closes the event.
