How to Complete a Project

I have three events that were completed in December.  Hoola Hoopla, Barrington Giving Days, Holly Ball.  All as Amy Hibbard as the leader.  I logged the hours and # of volunteers back in December and I still shows these as open and I can not figure out how to show them complete so the organization can receive their grants.  Please Help.

    Hi Amy,

I'm looking at the three projects you mentioned and I see them all marked as "completed project." Are you seeing something different?

    Thanks,

    Angella

Re: How to Complete a Project

I came across this because I led a project three weeks ago and haven't been able to figure out how to complete the project. I keep seeing "You are Project Lead" in the project status. After reading this, I logged off and pulled up my event without logging in. (As someone, other than myself would see it) It says "Completed Project" when seeing it from a volunteer perspective. I guess, when you lead a project it will always say you are project lead so you can continue to add pictures, stories, etc.

I guess it's easier that we are making it out to be!

I've been working with Jive administrators and am realizing too that the Community Site was intentionally designed this way. As project leaders, you will always see that you are the project lead instead of it being marked as completed. Everyone else will see that it is completed. One partner suggested logging out and viewing the project without logging in, and you'll see it's completed.

        Thanks!
