Growing Hours

I just wanted to say I love how every time I log in to the community site the hours have grown.  We hit over 200,000!!  This month has inspired not only myself but so many of us to help out and give, give, give to our communities!  I am so proud and super excited to be a part of all of this.  Thank you Starbucks, thank you partners and thank you customers!!

    Isn't that fantastic? It is over 206 thousand at this moment!  Can we all commit to volunteering more throughout the whole year and not only in April? That is my goal and I will go at least once a month. So far I am "covered"  multiple times a month until June and I'll keep going... I want this number grow fast every single month!

      Agreed!!  I have a few things posted for the next few months as well.  Now its up to us to keep it going!

        Also, we have to make sure that our partners participate in great numbers. We have to make it possible for them to join. Many times we need them in our stores and don't give them an opportunity to volunteer. The more of us experience this amazing feeling of giving, the better!

          I second that!  We need to allow our partners to be a part of all this too.  Tomorrow we have a huge event in San Francisco and half of my team is attending!  We are all very excited and it is so fun to get the store doing something together.  Next month I have signed us all up for a walk too.  We are their leader and showing them the importance of community is key.  They all love it and I am so proud of my team and this company!!

    Gina today was so much fun! Thank you for getting us all so excited about this- I am so grateful for all of the volunteer opportunities that we can be involved in and I love hanging out with our Sbux family outside of work Today was such an incredible time with everyone, seeing so many partners from all over come to one place to make a difference. Yayyyy!!!!

      Ashley!!

      Thanks for coming out on your day off.  I am so glad so many of our partners were able to be a part of this huge event.  And myself and the kids had fun working beside you today.  Thanks for hanging out and hey hey for meeting the big dogs!  Pays to stay the whole time!! 

       

      Can't wait to share so many more events with you and the rest of the team!

    I love it too!  Always seems to get me excited and thinking on ways our store can get more involved!

      I get excited too.  It makes me want to do more and motivate my team more to help those hours grow as fast as they can.

       

      By the way- have you noticed for the past week the hours have been stuck at 259,672?  I can't get over the fact that before every time I logged in the hours were growing and now for over a week almost they have stayed the same... have you noticed that?
