Hey community site-
How many of you have more than 1 car? Inspired by one of my partners I challenge you to think about the enviornment and think about even your health... Who can benefit from walking to work? Who can ride their bike, take the bus, ride your skateboard? I know for the longest time I took the bus to work, it was a bit longer and I walked to the bus station but I saved gas, I got to relax and not deal with road rage and I stayed green! Since then I have gotten back to driving since it has been to hot to walk to the mail box let alone the bus stop or the store but I have 1 partner who sold his car on a whim and now skate boards to work. Sometimes its rough or I find him clocking in out of breath but in all honesty imagine if half the store rode their bikes to work? Rode their skateboards... How do we applaud them? Where can they put their bikes and skateboards cause I know my back room is only so big... Can we as a company have incentives like how we do tuition reimbursement? Maybe buss pass reimbursement or bike mile reimbursement? We are doing so much as a company for the community why don't we extend that to the biggest community- the planet earth!
